The ICE-SAR Arctic 1001 uses a 46 mm CARBONOX™ housing. CARBONOX™ is an extremely robust and durable carbon-based material that is exclusively available from us. Much lighter than steel, hypoallergenic and extremely durable and resistant. The ICE-SAR logo with its four-circle elements served as an inspiration for the collection's bezel, while the shape of the hour, minute and second hands resembles the carabiners used by rescuers in their missions.
